Mr. Sandman
By Bill Dablow • Oct 15th, 2008 • Share:Next Tuesday I’ll be heading up to Fargo for what is called a “sleep study.” In short they hook up several wires to various parts of my person. Then it’s lights out for the night while a sleep tech monitors how I sleep. Every physician that I’ve spoken with over the last several months contends that I have “obstructive sleep apnea.” It’s a condition that raises a mighty ruckus with seemingly every organ in the body. The question before me is…how will I naturally fall sleep while being hooked up for an engine overhaul??? I can’t wait to tell you how this shakes out. I was hoping that another presidential debate would be going on that night because that would be “lights out” for sure! Sweet dreams!!!
