Did you ever travel to a foreign country and catch yourself looking somewhat “lost?” For the first time in over a year I had a full weekend OFF! Yeah, Friday and Saturday nights were spent at home…with nothing to do and nowhere to go! So what did I do? I walked around and looked out the windows a couple of times. My dogs looked at me wondering why I was “hanging around” so long. The point being, I felt like a fish out of water. Every weekend over the past year has been filled with loud music and even louder crowds. Total strangers in my face assuming a close relationship and suddenly…nothing! Talk about Home Alone! Well for the next three weekends my time is booked. More music and more crowds but once September comes I’m going to need to find other outlets on the weekends. Quiet weekends just don’t fly for me.
