Fairmount Public School will be having a “Book Fair” beginning Monday, November 17 through Tuesday, November 25 in the Fairmount School Library. Hours are 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Everyone Welcome! On Wednesday, November 19 – Grandparents Day from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. and on Thursday, November 20 – Family Night from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
The Junior Wildlife Club will meet on Thursday, November 20 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Wahpeton Community Center.
The Red River Area Sportsmen’s Club will meet on Thursday, November 20 at 7:30 p.m. at the Wahpeton Community Center.

A Dance is scheduled for Grades 6-7-8 on Friday, November 21 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Wahpeton Community Center.
The Breckenridge Wahpeton Swim Club is sponsoring “Turkey Bingo” for the family on Friday, November 21 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Vet’s Club in Wahpeton. There will be prizes for children and adults. Food will be served.
Chahinkapa Zoo’s “Wild Games” Annual Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, November 22 starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Wahpeton Community Center.

St. Mary’s Youth will be hosting an All-U-Can-Eat Fish Fry on Saturday, November 22 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s School in Breckenridge. Cost is $6.00 for Adults, $3.00 for children 6-12 Years Old and Pre-School are free.
Siloah Lutheran Church of rural Graceville will be having its 59th Pancake Supper on Saturday, November 22 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Church. Cost is $7.00 for adults, $4.00 for ages 5-12 and pre-school are free. Supplemental funding will be available from Thrivent Swift-Big Stone Chapter #31319. Wahpeton Public Schools is selling Carl’s Lefse. Orders can be placed by contacting Central Elementary at 642-8328 or Wahpeton Senior High School at 642-2604. Thanksgiving Orders can be picked up at the Wahpeton Senior High Vo Ag Building on Monday, November 24 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Christmas Orders can be picked up at the Wahpeton Senior High Vo Ag Building on Monday, December 22.

A Snowmobile Safety Class is being offered at the Breckenridge High School Small Auditorium. Classes will be held on Monday, December 15 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. and Saturday, December 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Those interested must be 12 years of age by Jan. 1, 2009 to take the course. St. John’s School will present its Christmas Program, “The Mystery of the Manger”, on Tuesday, December 16 at 7:00 p.m. at the Stern Cultural Center on the NDSCS Campus. The public is invited to attend. A freewill offering will be taken.

OSPTI in Breckenridge is now taking registrations for the fall season Water Aerobics. Morning classes are Tuesday’s and Friday’s from 6:45 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. or Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Evening classes are Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 5:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Cost is $30 (there is a one time “drop in” trial for $5).
