We live In the age of being connected to technology everywhere we go. Most of us are equipped with cell phones that can take pictures, and connect us to the internet, so we can read e-mails, and chat with other people, so that we are never really out of touch.
The State of Minnesota has seen enough people using their cell phones to text message while driving, and causing accidents on it’s roadways. August 1st, a law was passed prohibiting use of cell phones to text message, or log on to the internet while driving.
Two days later we get a reminder of why that law was needed…
A 25 year old driver in Cass County Minnesota, traveling at speeds over 80 mph drifted into the wrong lane, heading right for a police officer, says he drifted because he was text messaging someone while driving…
