HISTORY:
Since 1948, KBMW, 1450 AM, has been serving as the “Voice of the Southern Red River
Valley”. Some of the richest farmland in the United States, this Tri-State area of North
Dakota, Minnesota and South Dakota depends upon KBMW for its weather, news, sports and music 24 hours a day!

FORMAT:
KBMW offers the perfect blend of information and music. The on-air staff will keep you
updated on the latest developments in news, weather, and sports, plus play a mixture of your country favorites!

WEATHER:
The current conditions and forecast are heard every 20 minutes on KBMW, with expanded forecasts at 6:45 and 7:25 every weekday morning. (Before they happen, sudden and severe weather announcements are heard on KBMW!)

NEWS:
KBMW offers ABC Information Network News on the hour, 24 hours a day.
Regional news can be heard at five to the hour and local news at five past the hour.
Paul Harvey, “News and Comment” can be heard at 7:30 AM and 12 Noon, Monday through Saturday and hear the “Rest of the Story” at 5:15 PM Monday through Friday.

SPORTS:
Play-by-play of local high school and college sports events is a highlight at KBMW. We also offer “Coaches Corner” Saturday mornings at 8:45, September through May. “ABC World of Sports” at six past the hour on weekends; as well as Minnesota Twins Baseball and NDSU Football.

SPECIAL FEATURES:
KBMW also offers “Swap Shop” weekday mornings at 10:35 AM, ABC’s Business Report airs 5 times a day, Guest Mic Interviews at 8:45 AM and Closing Stock Market Reports at 5:28 PM.

“In-Fisherman Radio” airs weekday mornings and North Dakota Game and Fish outreach
biologist Doug Leier has a regular Friday feature.
